Non-Invasive Eye Correction

What is Orthokeratology? Orthokeratology is also known and Ortho K and CRT (Corneal Refractive Therapy) has been shown to reduce or in some cases eliminate nearsightedness temporarily. You may be surprised but orthokeratology (Ortho-K) has been around for over 40 years and has been an effective treatment option for kids, teens, and young adults. Ortho k can be a great option for anyone who would like to be less dependent on glasses or contacts for activities, sports, and hobbies.

CRT stands for Corneal Refractive Therapy (a.k.a. Orthokeratology.) It is a non-surgical vision improvement therapy program that uses a special type of contact lens that flattens the front surface of your eye over time and makes you less nearsighted.

The eventual goal of CRT is to allow you to have functional vision throughout your waking hours. In order to maintain the results, you will need to maintain wearing the contact lenses nightly.

Without getting too technical, you insert the contact lenses at bedtime, remove them when you wake and within days to weeks you should notice an improvement in your vision without the use of daytime contacts or glasses. It's painless!
