I am nearsighted and have been wearing contacts/glasses for the past 15 years. After years of headaches, dry eyes, broken glasses, and other issues associated with contacts and glasses. I decided to get "fixed". Through consulting with Dr. Tirado, I decided to try Corneal Refractive Therapy. CRT is a non destructive, non-surgical therapy that is also reversible. Being an engineer who works up-close and on computers throughout the day, my nearsightedness has only gotten worse with time. If anything CRT has stabilized my progression on top of giving me great vision.
CRT has been great. Now, I never have to worry about my eyes throughout the day. I can surf, golf, work on the computer, and even open my eyes under water! In fact, my vision is better then most people who don't need glasses. The process is easy; I put my lenses in before bed and then remove and clean them when I wake up. I have been enjoying 20/15 vision since about the fourth day of the therapy.
